Export Control, Sanctions & Compliance.
How Avores Defence Military LLC conducts defence trade: licensed transactions, verified end-user certification, sanctions screening and responsible transfers.
Avores Defence Military LLC ("the Company") is licensed by the Ministry of Defence of the United Arab Emirates (Commercial Licence MOD-CL-AUH-000161) and registered in Abu Dhabi (DED CN-5825943). The Company conducts all defence trade in full compliance with the laws of the UAE and with the export, import and transit laws of every other country involved in a transaction.
01Licensed transactions only.
We supply defence articles only to governments, government agencies and entities that hold valid licences to acquire them. No goods are delivered without the required UAE export authorisation and the import authorisation of the destination country.
02End-user certification.
Every sale requires a valid End-User Certificate (EUC) issued or authenticated by the competent authority of the buyer's government. The EUC must identify the end user and the end use, and include a commitment not to re-export or transfer the goods without the prior written consent of the UAE authorities. We verify EUCs with the issuing authority before shipment.
03Sanctions and embargoes.
We do not trade with, or for the benefit of, any country, entity or person subject to United Nations Security Council arms embargoes or sanctions, or to applicable UAE sanctions. We also take into account the sanctions and embargo regimes of the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States. All counterparties, end users, shipping agents and banks are screened against the relevant sanctions lists before we enter into any commitment, and again before shipment.
04Responsible transfers.
Consistent with the principles of the Arms Trade Treaty, we will not supply where there is a clear risk that the goods could be used to commit or facilitate serious violations of international humanitarian law or human-rights law, or could be diverted to unauthorised users, including non-state armed groups. We refuse transactions that show signs of diversion, unusual routing, or end-user documentation that cannot be verified.
05Brokering and transport.
Where the Company acts as an intermediary, it does so only with the brokering authorisations required by UAE law and by the law of the countries concerned. Shipments use licensed carriers and declared routes.
06Anti-bribery and corruption.
The Company prohibits offering, paying, requesting or accepting bribes, facilitation payments or any improper advantage, directly or through agents. We comply with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 31 of 2021 (Penal Code) and respect the principles of the UK Bribery Act 2010, the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention. Agents and intermediaries are subject to due diligence and contractual anti-corruption undertakings.
07Record-keeping and cooperation.
Transaction, licence and end-use records are retained as required by UAE law and are made available to competent authorities on request.
